Isaiah 61:1-3

There are many types of trauma that can occur in a person’s life. Perhaps the trauma was war, an accident, suicide of a loved one, or a natural disaster; those whose life was twisted in such a way that it has never been the same. Childhood abuse, abandonment, divorce, and untimely death are also traumatic and stressful, especially to a child that does not understand.
Without help, the inner pain and turmoil does not go away. Most of this pain does not show on the outside and rarely gets medical care. This kind of pain often leads to dysfunctional and addictive behaviors.
